Search Overview

MyGaDOE's Search function allows users to search the GaDOE database for information about people and public education organizations.  Specifically, users may search for the following:

• Districts

• People

• Schools

• Agencies

• Departments

• Divisions

• Other

• RESA

• Vendors

• All Organizations

For search purposes, the following definitions apply:

• Agencies are major governmental units, such as the Georgia Department of Education.

• Departments are subdivisions of governmental units.

• Divisions are subdivisions of Departments.

Searches are conducted by using the Search menu near the top of each page in MyGaDOE.  Regardless of the type of search users perform, once they receive a list of search results, they may either View records in the list or Edit them.
